In order to get a good start in regattas and in surfing, you need to be at the best spot at the right time. The Suunto M3 helps you to determine the preferred end of the start line so that you pass the startline ideally and at the right time. In addition, you can use the timer, in order to estimate how long it takes to reach the start line. This way you pass the start line exactly at the right time.
The numeric display of the countdown and the acoustic alarms, as well as the possibility to synchronize the timer with the official countdown of the regatta assure that you will not be surprised by the start.
