Pure functionality is covered by simple design !

The exclusive Tanita BC-1000 is a high performance scales, offering a detailed overview about your inner health. The principle of bioimpedance is used. The bioimpedance analyses measures the electrical physical resistance.

A special highlight of the Tanita BC 1000 scales is the compatibility with three Garmin-models FR60HR (in all variations), Forerunner 310XT and Edge 800! Because of the integrated, fast, and wireless ANT+ radio technology, the Garmin-training computers allow a very easy use of the Tanita BC-1000. Have a look on your individual health and training values together with other health and fitness enthusiasts and follow alltogether your results. The Tanita D-1000 table display is optionally available - you can use the Tanita body composition monitor BC-1000 with that one as well.

The Tanita BC-1000 turns on automatically once a Garmin-training watch or a PC/laptop with an ANT+ USB-stick is quite close. The measuring results are transfered to the training watch or the pc and can be analysed by means of a special analysis software or online via Garmin Connect (free online portal).

The Tanita BC-1000 measures nine physical values all in all. Weight, body fat mass, and body water mass are indicated once you step on the scales. The other six measuring values (muscle mass, evaluation of body composition, daily calory consumption, metabolic age, bone mineral mass, and visceral fat display) are stored in the watch but not indicated. They are transfered from the training computer to the pc.
